Representative Bios
Jeff White
Following a four-year engagement with the United States Air Force, Jeff, a Virginia native, graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University. Upon graduation from J.M.U. in 1993 with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Sociology, Jeff began his career as a professional beauty products representative and cultivated a territory consisting primarily of key accounts while living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jeff relocated to Charlotte in 2003. And in 2009, drawing on 16 years of beauty industry experience, Jeff founded J. White & Associates along with his wife, Kristel.
"There are fewer customers than ever before. But those customers represent more business potential than ever," states Jeff. "These distributors, retailers, and e-tailers are very sophisticated, and they require ongoing input and collaborative effort on strategic management and planning decisions with our lines. J. Kristel White
Kristel, a Charlotte, North Carolina native, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 1990, with a BSBA in Marketing. She spent three years in banking before joining Barnhardt Manufacturing Company, where she spent the next 13 years canvassing the beauty industry as National Sales Manager for Intrinsics. Kristel and Jeff married in 2003 and have three children.
"We enjoy close and trusting relationships with our manufacturing partners," states Kristel. "When taking an emerging brand to its full potential, communication and planning are crucial. You only get one shot at these key accounts, and if a manufacturer is ill-prepared or uninformed, it can be unprofitable at best; perhaps devastating. We work tirelessly to ensure that our manufacturers AND our customers succeed."
Brian Denby
Brian, a Virginia native, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has established himself as one of the most successful reps in the professional beauty industry since 1982. Brian lives in Dallas, TX, and specializes in key account management and prestige retail.
"As the industry has evolved into a very consolidated and efficient system, I have been fortunate to maintain strong relationships with upper management of many of the key distribution partners of J. White & Associates," states Denby. "They look to me and this firm to bring them exciting products that represent true organic growth. The management of these conglomerates is tasked with high performance standards, and j. White & Associates delivers for them."
