The Common Good Foundation of NC was founded by Jeff and Kristel White, in honor of Dr. Rebecca Davis, to share in their good fortune. “It is our responsibility to help care for those who are unable to speak for or care for themselves,” says Kristel. “We believe that we are all charged with leaving this world a little better than we found it, and this foundation is one way in which we fulfill that duty. Everyone can enhance a life with a simple smile and friendly greeting. Jeff and I are blessed with the ability to do more, and it is our privilege to share.”
The Common Good Foundation of NC currently supports the following charitable organizations:
-
St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital—providing state of the art medical care for the most vulnerable among us, children suffering from life-threatening illness
- InReach—supporting individuals with developmental and other disabilities, through housing and job placement programs, to live life their way (check out the short video by clicking here, then click on the forward arrow at "Creativity at its Finest")
-
YWCA—supporting women and their families to achieve physical and financial independence and success
"As our company grows, so grows our foundation,” says Jeff. “Dr. Davis carefully oversees the foundation, identifying organizations in need of our support during this ever-changing economic environment. We hope to add several other beneficiaries to this list in the coming years.”
“We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.”
